A seminar specifically for Food and Fibre (Primary Industry) secondary school teachers and assessors covering off:

  • Unit standards – learn the components of a unit standard, unit standards vs achievement standards and how to deliver and assess unit standards in a school setting
  • Consent to assess – what is it, how do you apply for it, what are the requirements?
  • Assessments – competency-based vs grading, how to write, pre-moderation requirements.

We will explore techniques for designing assessments that are valid, reliable, and authentic.
