Operational Plan 2023-24

This Operational Plan sets out the ways in which we will advance our moemoeā (vision) and meet our commitments and deliverables over the 2023-24 year.

We are pleased to share our Operational Plan for 2023-24. This plan builds on our Statement of Strategic Direction 2022-2027 (SSD) and is formatted as a short-form, quick-reference tool for kaimahi that will help guide, focus and support our mahi throughout the coming year.

The plan deconstructs our three high-level deliverables (initially set out in the SSD) into key contributing deliverables for the year ahead. From these, it outlines workstreams, actions, milestones and indicators to ensure they are achieved. These high-level deliverables are:

  1. Set of Workforce Development Plans (WDPs) developed in partnership with industry and iwi Māori, and leadership to support their implementation
  2. Set of qualifications, standards and micro-credentials that meet shared and diverse needs and aspirations
  3. Advice and action on programmes, funding and quality of delivery that meet shared aspirations and needs

We remain committed to meeting the diverse needs and aspirations of people across the food and fibre sector and look forward to using this valuable tool to help us do so.
