Feedback on changes: New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Level 6) with strands May 24th, 2023 We are seeking feedback on a review of the New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Level 6) with strands in Companion Animal Veterinary Nursing, and Equine Veterinary Nursing. Muka Tangata recently completed a review of the current version of the New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Level 6) with strands in Companion Animal Veterinary Nursing, and Equine Veterinary Nursing. It was found programme development for the qualification was difficult and considerable work was undertaken to amend the qualification based on that feedback. We would like to offer the opportunity for you to provide your feedback on the proposed changes. Please complete this survey with your feedback on the changes by Wednesday 7 June 2023. There are two documents: one that has tracked changes of the amendments; the other is a ‘clean’ version with updated copy. Tracked Changes Updated Draft Version Summary of changes: The Graduate Profile Outcomes (GPOs) have been reduced from 20 to 6. There is no loss of content as the GPOs were consolidated into fewer, broader statements that incorporated the previous detail, and allowed for a more flexible, achievable programme suitable for a range of delivery methods. General Conditions for the Programme section were clarified, for example, details on theory vs. practical assessment, as well as the species required for assessments was clarified to enable more workable and achievable outcomes.
