On Thursday 27 July we had the privilege of running our first wānanga as part of the Seafood qualifications development project. 

Our review panel, comprising top Seafood industry experts, training providers, iwi and Māori, convened in Nelson last week. Hosted by Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT), the panel discussed the future of Vocational Education and Training (VET) for the Seafood industry.

Many thanks to all those who helped organise and facilitate this event, as well as all those who attended. We’re very pleased to be underway and look forward to all the positive mahi that will come out of this group!
