Changing Council members for Muka Tangata

One of our founding Council members is departing, having finished his term, and a new Associate Director has been appointed.

With deep appreciation, we bid farewell to one of the founding members of our Council, Warwick Tauwhare-George who has recently completed his term with Muka Tangata.

Warwick has served since October 2021, bringing an absolute wealth of cross-sector experience and knowledge. His exceptional contributions to the Financial Audit and Risk Committee, the Māori Rōpū, and to the wider Council, have left us in a much stronger place.

Our sincere thanks, Warwick, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

We are pleased to welcome Antonia Lilii into the Muka Tangata whānau as an Associate Director for our Council.

Antonia wears many hats, but in particular her perspective as a union delegate and her voice as a Pacific wāhine will further the breadth of knowledge and views across the Council table.

Antonia joined us for our August hui in Rotorua, we look forward to getting to know her and working with her further!
