Muka Tangata Annual Report 2023-24 November 5th, 2024 We are pleased to share our Annual Report for 2023-24, featuring our key milestones, Statement of Service Performance and financial statements that illustrate how we’ve delivered for priority groups, providers and the food and fibre sector over the past 12 months. Our annual report highlights how we have been working to support people to flourish in the food and fibre sector including: Iwi and Māori engagement Te Haumako – our Māori workforce development plan for the sector Progress on our qualification development projects – Seafood, Forestry, Agriculture and Entry Level, as well as specialist micro-credentials – Groundspread Nutrient Application, Irrigation, Wool Harvesting and Emerging Leadership A Food and Fibre Skills Framework that is now the basis for our product development mahi Working with training providers to ensure that their delivery equally supports quality outcomes for all Progress on the actions in our 14 industry-specific Workforce Development Plans Our collaboration across WDCs, and within the wider vocational education sector to deliver the best results for the people in our industries, including the Shared Data Platform. With the support and encouragement of our sector and industries, we have promoted discussion on a wide range of future options for food and fibre vocational education and training.
