The Muka Tangata Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Food and Fibre Industry Skills Board will pick up its functions.

Entry Level and Agriculture project wānanga

Muka Tangata is embarking on two simultaneous qualification development projects for all food and fibre Entry Level and Agriculture qualifications, standards and micro-credentials.

Wānanga

We now invite you to join us at wānanga around the country to learn more about the projects, provide general feedback on the existing qualifications and standards, and share aspirations of future industry training.

  • Online (Thursday 9 May)

We are planning additional wānanga for Māori stakeholders in May. We will send more details about the date, location, and online options for these in the next few weeks.
